Families and children are invited to gather ’round the Christmas tree to make old-fashioned Christmas ornaments and paper-chain garland to decorate the tree. Immediately following at 7 p.m., join Everett Price for a reading of Truman Capote’s semi-autobiographical story, “One Christmas,” about Buddy who dreads leaving Alabama and his beloved Sook and dog Queenie, to visit his father for Christmas in New Orleans.
