Fruitcake Festival

Nov
19–20

Monroe County Heritage Museum will host the Annual Fruitcake Festival inspired by Truman Capote’s heart-warming Christmas Stories. Locally made fruitcakes, in specially designed tins, will be for sale all day Friday. A special theatrical performance brings Capote’s stories to life at 7:00 pm Thursday and Friday in the world-famous courtroom of the Old Courthouse Museum. Tickets to the event are $10 and include a holiday reception … with fruitcake, of course! For more information or to purchase tickets to the evening’s performance, contact the Museum at 251-575-7433 or [email protected].
