Old Fashioned Family Fun Days

The entire family is invited to take a step back in time and slow the pace to enjoy old-fashioned games and try their hand at various pastimes vital to our Civil War-era predecessors.

Kids will enjoy non-electronic games such as stilt walking, graces, hoops, marbles and drill as part of the ?home guard? on the Village Green, alnog with meeting the farm?s animals.

Older children can try their hand at whist, croquet, and traditional dances. Parents will enjoy watching artisans and craftsmen plying their trade as basket makers and broom makers, glassblowers as well as the blacksmith at his forge.

Additionally, everyone?s invited to attend the Civil War-era wedding on Saturday afternoon. Music, food and self-guided tours through the Village also available throughout the day.
