Brukner Nature Center
Brukner Nature Center is a privately-funded, nonprofit organization dedicated to environmental education and wildlife rehabilitation. Our beautiful 165-acre preserve features over 6 miles of hiking trails, a nature museum, a wildlife rehabilitation unit, an 1804 log house built on its original site, a nature store and over 40 live animals on display, featuring Ohio's native wildlife. In 1995 Brukner Nature Center was honored by the Institute for Museum and Library Services as one of three outstanding natural history museums in the nation.
Come visit our newly renovated interpretive building, featuring the Heidleberg Auditorium, elevator access to our tree-top bird vista and a new preschool classroom! The grounds and hiking trails are open every day of the year from sunrise to sunset. Small admission fee charge on Sundays only.
