Gil Morgan Golf Course

One of Wewoka’s favorite sons, professional golfer Dr. Gil Morgan, has this golf course named after him. This beautiful nine-hole golf course offers a challenging round of golf for both the novice and advanced golfer.

With rolling hills, and wooded areas, the golf course has a reputation as one of the finest nine-hole courses in the state.

Annually, since 1949, the course sponsors the popular Pokkecetu (meaning “play ball”) golf tournament.
