Municipal Rose Garden & Museum

22-acre garden is nation’s largest rose showcase, featuring 38,000 rose bushes representing nearly 500 varieties. Roses are at their floral peak May – Nov. Commercial growers around Tyler ship hundreds of thousands of bushes to nurseries throughout the nation and to 25 foreign countries. Open daily. 1900 W. Front St. Tyler Rose Museum features educational exhibits of the rose-growing industry and displays former Rose Festival memorabilia, including queens’ dresses.
