Rocky Fork State Park
Rocky Fork State Park is located in Highland Co., an hour drive SW of Columbus.
The park, w/gorges carved by Rocky Fork Creek, offers many opportunities for nature lovers. Hike 2 mi. of trails through woodlands & wetlands. A 2 mi. trail provides rugged fun for mountain biking. Picnic areas provide tables & grills.
2,080-acre Rocky Fork Lake offers 2 sand beaches w/bathhouses. All boating is permitted w/no hp limit. Marinas offer fuel, dock & boat rental, & snacks. Boat camping/swimming are permitted in designated areas.
Enjoy fishing from shore, accessible fishing pier, or lake. The lake offers bluegill, bass, muskie & crappie. Hunting is permitted in designated areas. A valid Ohio fishing &/or hunting license is required.
Groups can rent the Recreation Barn near the group camp or the Activity Center at the north beach. The East Shore Marina restaurant can be rented.
230 campsites with/without electric are available. Amenities are showers, restrooms, laundry, & camp store. Pets are permitted on some sites.
