July 1 – Sidewalk sales, live music, moonlight movies.
July 2 – Happy Hours, Bowling, Sidewalk sales continue.
July 3 – 9 a.m. Children’s parade, Free face painting at Pharaoh parking lot 10 a.m.-noon by Primary Colors Gallery; Gilbert Whitney, 104 N. Liberty, cookie decorating 11 a.m. – 1 p.m.; “Grill Secrets to Success: 1-2 p.m. Free by Executive Chef, Marshall Roth; in Pharaoh parking lot, UpDog Exrpess Cart; watermelon seed contest 11 a.m. Winner wins “Square Packet “( 4 movie passes, $20 gift card, free bowling pass and more); and pie eating contest 11:30 a.m., also wins “Square Packet”.

Enjoy a huge fireworks display at the Mormon Visitors Center beginning at dusk (approx (9:15 p.m.) on July 3rd, after an 8:30 p.m. concert by the Spirit of Independence Concert Band. Mormon Visitors Center, 937 W. Walnut
