Dr. Suess Safari

Feb
6

How would Dr Seuss describe a trip to the Nature Sanctuary? Reading a short
nature-inspired “Suess-story” will spark our imaginations. Then, we¹ll make
a sense-ometer using pictures of animals’ senses to use to “hunt” for nature
knowledge as we head out on the trail. Discover the sounds, smells, sights
and textures found outdoors through hands-on exploration. We¹ll conclude the
program by meeting a live animal up close and personal to learn how it uses
its senses to help it survive. Please call to register. Limit of 12 children
and one accompanying adult per child.
Time: 10-11 a.m.
Ages: Preschoolers (3-6 years)
