General Sam Houston Day

Celebrates the life and times of Gen. Sam Houston with life-skill demonstrations, authentic 19th-century dress, continuous entertainment and hands-on children’s activities. Tour the homes the Houstons lived in, gain access into the Steamboat House and the 19th century period cabins on the property. The events on the grounds and admission into the museum are FREE! 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
