Holiday Open House and Lighting of Independence Square Courthouse

Oct
31

The festivities will begin with the arrival of jolly old St. Nick himself in a horse drawn sleigh. The rest of the day will include school choirs, a performance by the Missouri Town Village Dancers and visits with Santa. The shops of the Square have decorated their windows for the Holidays and will add to the celebration by opening their doors for the annual Holiday Open House. The shops will have special treats and displays to add to the festive air. The culmination of the day will be the lighting of the tree (and Square!) at 5:57pm followed by a reading of ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas.
