Style 1900: An Enduring Legacy, A Conversation with David Rago
In marking the 30th Anniversary of the launch of Style 1900, David Rago, the magazine’s founder and founder of the Rago Arts and Auction Center, will join Mark Weaver, former writer for the magazine and current Stickley Museum Trustee, for a conversation exploring Style 1900’s history. From its beginnings as the black-and-white newsletter Arts and Crafts Quarterly, to its evolution into the full-color magazine Style 1900 and eventual decline, the magazine, like Gustav Stickley’s magazine The Craftsman, established itself as a guide to living and learning about the Arts and Crafts lifestyle. Join The Stickley Museum at Craftsman Farms in remembering Style 1900 magazine and its enduring legacy.
