Mohican State Park
Mohican State Park is located in Ashland Co. near Loudonville. Mohican State Park is in the heart of beautiful Amish Country. Hike on 13 mi. of trails along & above the dramatic gorge of the Clearfork River, a National Natural Landmark. Go horseback riding in the adjacent state forest (bring your own horse). Picnic areas have tables, grills & reservable shelters. Nature programs provide summer entertainment.
Registered campers enjoy a convenient outdoor pool. Wading & tubing the Clearfork River is a great hot-weather pursuit. Private canoe liveries rent canoes. Fly-fishing on the river is popular. Hunting permitted in adjacent state forest.
Relax in a lodge guest room or cozy cottage. The lodge features dining room, lounge & 2 pools. The 2 bdrm. cottages feature kitchen, living room w/fireplace, dining area, screened porch, bathroom, heat & A/C. Pick 1 of 212 campsites with electric/non-electric or full-service. Amenities are showers & modern restrooms. Try camping in a Camper Cabin.
2006 Camping Fees are $18-$36/night. Camper Cabin is $50/night. Cottage Fees are $100/night. Reservations: 1-866-OHIO-PARKS.
